Description
Apple Bubble Up Casserole is a cozy, gooey dessert (or breakfast!) made with cinnamon-spiced apples and fluffy biscuit dough, all baked in a buttery brown sugar glaze. It’s quick, easy, and perfect for family gatherings or lazy weekend mornings.
Ingredients
2 cups diced apples (preferably Granny Smith or Fuji)
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into small pieces
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
Preheat & Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
Mix the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, toss together the diced apples, biscuit dough pieces, granulated sugar, and cinnamon until everything is evenly coated.
Assemble: Spread the mixture into your greased baking dish. Drizzle melted butter over the top. Sprinkle with brown sugar, vanilla extract, and optional pecans.
Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
Cool & Serve: Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving warm. Optionally top with a scoop of ice cream or drizzle with glaze!
Notes
Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Fuji to prevent sogginess.
For extra indulgence, drizzle a quick powdered sugar glaze on top after baking.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
